The breeze blows just as even, for the wicked and the strong, Carries that wooden sailboat, as it cuts through right and wrong. Like a leaf floating in a gentle stream, Or the homeless lost in drunken dreams, There’s a message for here us all and for the unforgiven. The gate will crash on pickets, in a skittish howling wind, No one takes out to the ocean, when there’s whitecaps to be seen, But as the girls slinks fearfully to her bed, And bows down to fabours she must bend, No one knows the truth more keenly, than the unforgiven. The unforgiven, the unforgiven, But as the girls slinks fearfully to her bed, There’s a gremlin in the tower rats run freely ‘round the house The truth has been so vacant in the face of passing clouds, We don’t always need to look away, When the question once at leasts been raised, Every night I say my prayers now for the unforgiven. The unforgiven, the unforgiven. We don’t always need to look away, When the question once at leasts been raised, Every night I say my prayers now for the Unforgiven. And bows down to favours she must bend, No one knows the truth more keenly, than the unforgiven. No one knows the truth more keenly, than the unforgiven. There’s a gremlin in the tower rats run freely ‘round the house The truth has been so vacant in the face of passing clouds, We don’t always need to look away, When the question once at leasts been raised, Every night I say my prayers now for the unforgiven. The unforgiven, the unforgiven. We don’t always need to look away, When the question once at leasts been raised, Every night I say my prayers now for the Unforgiven.

Late last night under a willow tree, A shooting star shot right through me, And rocked me and broke me on some new uneven ground. Just like the host of wedding feast, whose fickle guest just can’t be pleased The silence of this moment seems to be so loud I know it's just the speed of gravity Long thin blocks of wasted time, Build empty castles in vacant minds, As the edges of the hourglass become damp and slippery, I know it’s just the speed of gravity. The voices of my ancestry, As I grow old grow more on me, I will not let their hopes and dreams, become so easily devoured. And when the day has closed its book, And gentle night takes a familiar look, I’ll settled into evenings never ending stream, I know it’s just the speed of gravity. I know it’s just the speed of gravity

Sarah's News 05:06
Sarah’s news, was more than I would ever hold her to, Bright wide eyes, living with skies so blue. In a dream we would always want to choose, And stories built on modicums of truth, Open up your heart, Here comes Sarah’s news. The moon is full, fuller than it’s ever been. No clouds tonight, no truer light than you’ve ever seen. You think you know the path to quit these blues, Choosing life from other peoples queues, You chuckle to yourself just as you loose, Thank God for Sarah’s news. Children play, between the years of four and two, Creating worlds they long to introduce you to. Like flowers in a damp and dark, cold room, Their hearts already in full bloom, I wait with bated breath each afternoon, For Sarah’s latest news, I wait with bated breath each afternoon, For Sarah’s latest news.

Thin Black Ice (Featuring James Delsandes on saxophone and Spiro Kolovos on Bass) Suzi it’s cold tonight, We’re skating on thin black ice, I’m pulling down misty eyes, To see your untruths. Room service is slow tonight, Only the beer is light, I’m holding a heavy heart, And crying for two. It’s all just a sad, sad shame, Never thought it would go this way, My eyes are now sore and strained, from seeing through you. I must have been so blind, To not see what was on your mind, Got lost and so entwined, Entangled with you. I’m alone with my warm mulled wine, Understanding that loves no crime, Not sure why I couldn’t find, What you always knew. It’s all just a sad, sad shame, Never thought it would go this way, My eyes are now sore and strained from seeing through you.

I’ve had some days that I would say have been much better, You touch my hand, your palm is soft by any measure. You have been so strong when things go right and wrong, The girl I love, I love in all kinds of weather. I can’t forget the first day I ever met her, A floral dress and a voice so sweet and tender. The stereo goes on and plays that chilled out song, The girl I love, I love in all kinds of weather. In rain and sleet and snow I hear your call You call my name, you call my name In rain and sleet and snow We have no plans You have so strong when things go right and things go wrong, The girl I love I love in all kinds of weather. The Sun is warm, warms my face the simplest pleasure, A courtyard paved, with private thoughts, flowers and letters. You have been so wise, with those baby smiling eyes, The girl I love, I love in all kinds of weather.

Blew in from out of town, Smiled to the judge as a beer her downed, Everybody looked around to watch her sweet hips sway All flushed up with cash that night From gold they stole from their claims so white Her hair was pinned taught and tight In that Gypsy kind of way The Jack’s of hearts played all their cards, And this green eyed girl still bluffed her part, Knowing late they’d fall apart As she held all the spades She smiled and purred Danced on tables and twirled her skirt Every single man fell out of his cage But as the night drew on One by one they fell head long Into a drunken dream for which they all were made, She pranced across her stage. Their eyes all darted North and South, With voices raised deep and loud, She had them cheering like an orphan crowd, Heels tapping out their pain. This black hair girls with the moves she made Filled their dreams for one more day, Then she had them almost tamed and no one knew her name. She smiled and purred, Danced on tables and twirled her skirt, Every single man fell out of his cage. But as the night drew on, One by one they fell head long, Into a drunken dream for which they all were made, She made her last escape.

Cloudy Day 04:26
Take the time to smell the breeze, Walking slowly down leafy streets, Thoughts fly off like blistered paint. So nice so slow so true, Simple pleasure of walking with you, Passing up even my right of way, Dreaming on a cloudy day Cloudy day, Cloudy day, Cloudy Day Gonna ride on the river, give up my name, Bag up those troubles cruise in the slip lane, Floating on sunshine, dreaming on a cloudy day, Cloudy day, Gonna bag up those troubles, Cruise in the slip lane, Floating on sunshine, Dreaming on a cloudy day. Things don’t seem so tough right now, Birds and trees sing right out loud, Everything seems to be going my way. A stroll in the park is what they So easy so fresh, you’re own freeway Dreaming like a man with no rational plans Dreaming on a cloudy day Cloudy Day, cloudy day, cloudy day Dreaming on a cloudy day Gonna ride on the river, give up my name, Floating on sunshine, dreaming on a cloudy day, Cloudy day, cloudy day, cloudy day, cloudy day, Dreaming on a cloudy day.

You waited by the Queens Head Inn, In a thin disguise, Knowing deep down within, We never see eye to eye, Disagreeing always been our common default, Determined to start again, As evening falls. The day is pushed and pulled red numbers in your head, The grooves made today toss and turn you in your bed, You burn the bridge that carries only pawns, And you vow to start afresh when evening falls. When evening falls, when evening falls, when evening falls The line is walked so sharp, thin and tight, Your ears have grown deaf to the loudest cries, There’s a sleeve light underneath your bedroom door, And you vow to start again, when evening falls. When evening falls, when evening falls, when evening falls There’s a sleeve light underneath your bedroom door, And you vow to start again, when evening falls.

Horizon 04:06
Walking on this cold wet sand in a stormy windswept dusk, It never really dawned on me how this love we had might rust. The black and blue colours, the horizon’s crimson spell, And I can’t find the difference now between the wake and swell. There’s a quiet gentle place I’ve found each and every lonely night, Where the God’s and their professors drink in the morning light. The books upon the bookshelf hold a good and kind counsel, Where wishes hold no promises that all truth will dispel. Drawing straight lines down a darkened well, And writing words that fall just where they fell, The metronome bows down to the bell, Maybe time is parallel…….parallel. The nakedness of youth is thrown into the fire, With every other whim and falsely held desire. The priest the judge the jury Bid their final sad farewell No hope no fear, no spinning wheel Maybe time is parallel……..parallel Way over way over way over way over, Way over way over way over way over, The Horizon, the horizon. Drawing straight lines down a darkened well, And writing words that fall just where they fell, The metronome bows down to the bell, Maybe time is parallel…….parallel. Way over way over way over way over, Way over way over way over way over, The Horizon, the horizon, the horizon.

Avalanche 03:37
Storms were gathering all around, Night as black as silk against white stone, Lost alone out on my own, in a frozen World. Snow can so pure and hard to hold, An ache between good friends but there’s no flow, Didn’t see the buds of a new romance, it hit me like an avalanche, an avalanche Didn’t see the buds of a new romance, it hit me like an avalanche, an avalanche Tried to look away and hope it goes, It’s a story we’ve, once all been told, Where words and faces do not match, Expect an avalanche, an avalanche Didn’t see the buds of a new romance, it hit me like an avalanche, an avalanche Didn’t see the buds of a new romance, it hit me like an avalanche, an avalanche Tried to look away and hope it goes It’s a story we’ve, once all been told Where words and faces do not match Expect an avalanche, an avalanche…...

The cool fresh air is fully charged, No maps no open roads, Somehow they found their way, across these mountain lopes Stories the power of song ,motifs and waterholds Filled their mind with dreaming The campsite was their home To forest calls us further on, Landscapes melt in setting Sun’s, And love flows where every river runs, And words get in the way, When words get in the way. No questions asked about, the meaning of this life, The birds and creatures filled their World with love’s eternal light. Their times were made of movement, and always moving on, Standing still was no place, to rest their head upon. To forest calls us further on, Landscape melt in setting Suns, And love flows where every river runs, And words get in the way, When words get in the way. Leaves fall down like rain, You can hear the lions roar No light without a clear full moon No knocking at no door This modern age has its price, I wonder what the cost When the meaning is the sacrifice and deep love has been lost. To forest calls us further on, Landscapes melt in setting Sun’s, And love flows where every river runs, And words get in the way, When words get in the way, When words get in the way, When words get in the way.

The leaves on the trees are mostly brown, The grass is white so don’t look down, The truth is coming true right now There’s no real difference I can see between salt and sand and hot sea breeze I tell you baby everyone;s living underground If you don;t mind I dont mind, I;ve got no time to change your mind, Way too many white folks run this town. Fresh creeks and streams are now just dreams, White papers written in endless reams, I tell you baby, everyone’s living underground. And the night before, the night before, They said we could open the back porch door, But the promise came too late to be believed. Hail and drought are just the norms, No shelter built for these power storms, All we study is the science of retreat. The sceptics voices were way too loud, But I still blame the middle ground, For doing just what they always pleased. The price of truth was way to low, But the voice of reason spoke too slow I tell you baby everyone’s living underground. And the night before, the night before, They said we could open the back porch door, But the promise came too late to be believed. Hail and drought are just the norms, No shelter built for these power storms, All we study is the science of retreat.
