Miracle Road 05:06
Miracle Road He stands on a hill smells fire and smoke, Slips out late but leaves no note, He’ll take his chance with his anecdotes, Not worried about the overtones. He knows where to find his best disguise, Common man's smirk with blue blue eyes, Rare talent for the evening show, You can catch him on his miracle Rd. Haven’t got used to the bitter taste, Of our once sweet lives now displaced, The door is closed right in our face, Where the cynics have made their home. The sky is red, the tracks still cold, On these flatlands only empty souls, Pawing at life with dreams untold, We’re paying for his Miracle Rd. Miracle Rd, paying for his Miracle Rd. The time has come now to back your bags, Shutthe shop whate’er you can The path is littered with old man’s groans, Building ‘round that Miracle Rd. What once we hoped might be true, Now seems what we always knew, Believe the man give him his due, He’s walking on his Miracle Rd Miracle Rd, walking on his Miracle Rd. Miracle Rd, he’s walking on his Miracle Rd. Stands on a hill smells fire and smoke, Slips out late but leaves no note, He’ll take his chance with his anecdotes, Not worried about the overtones. Like an empty night in a stolen town, An ageless hour is down to the wire, The change has come more quick than slow, Building on his Miracle Rd. Miracle Rd, building on his Miracle Road, Miracle Rd, building on his Miracle Road Miracle Rd, the change has come more quick than slow He’s building on his Miracle Rd.

Some distant chorus: The eucalypt shines in the face of the Sun, Cool pastel colours, Blending so smoothe ‘gainst of this well-tempered trunk. Green on to green and all in between, The blue sky of wisdom is the stage for the play of these young springing leaves It’s whispering something I know but I just can’t recall, Like some distant chorus now too hard to ignore Like a face in the crowd or a tired guitar, Two friends hold hands, biding their time in the soft Winter park. The hall down the road, the hall that you know, Where the voices sing loud and sweet, Just like a mid-afternoon choir. It’s whispering something I know but I just can’t recall, Like some distant chorus I now can’t ignore. Like the stone on your house in your foundation wall, Mortred by men who had died, more than 100 years before. It keeps you safe and it keeps you warm, You never got the chance to shake their hand or watch their sweat as it falls. It’s whispering something I know but I just can’t recall, Like some distant chorus I now can’t ignore.

A reason for hope: Went out walking late last night, Heard the peace on the street, Child being read to by her Pa, Just as she drifts off to sleep. My mug just fell to the floor, Sound echo through every cell door, Somehow some people just seem to know, I think there’s a reason for hope. Somehow some people just seem to know, I think there’s a reason for hope. I won’t even criticise, The foolish things that I despise, But like the bear I’ll sleep tonight, Knowing they’ll be a dawn. Like any other living form, That hybernates through every storm, I will sleep so sound tonight knowing they’ll be a dawn. No need to ignore or dismiss, The darkness in the troubled witness, Concern is a window clear for sure, I think there’s a reason for hope. Mystical healing or maybe change, There's force beyond sure at play, Turned upside down for sure, I think there’s a reason for hope. I won’t even criticise, The foolish things that I despise, But like the bear I’ll sleep tonight, Knowing they’ll be a dawn. Like any other living form, That hybernates through every storm, I will sleep so sound tonight, knowing they’ll be a dawn. Went out walking late last night, I was bathed in golden light, Somehow some people just seem to know, I think there’s a reason for hope.

Leaning out for Love In the hallways, and the gardens that you keep, Spinning circles, of each other they will feed. Roaming, out on every single street, Are people, you think you never want to meet. But just like the sum of us, they’re leaning out for love. (X2) And the days you never thought you’d see, Are now delivered in the coolest gentle breeze, And the leaves, flickering from the trees are leaning out for love. Leaning out for love, leaning out for love. I’m going, gonna take myself away, To a country, where the boundaries aren’t displayed. Every forest, and every breathing form, Has a focus, and a social norm But just like the sum of us, they’re leaning out for love. (X2) And the days you never thought you’d see, Are now delivered in the coolest gentle breeze, And the leaves flickering in the trees are leaning out for love. Leaning out for love, leaning out for love, leaning out for love, leaning out for love….etc.

On the Seventh Watch: A little after midnight, I was told to watch from three, The darkest hour looming, don’t why it fell to me. And I was blurry eyed, like other souls, Whose hearts already had all been lost. Hold your ground, won’t you hold your ground, Hold it while the Angel’s draw their lots, Defined by everything that I am not, On the Seventh Watch. Waiting for an evening star to show a sign, The only way they think they’ll be set free, The answer lies in mirrors, not those megaphones, Blasting out in every town and street. A desert stretches out, so blank and ill-defined, In the smallest crevice, the World was thus consigned. Time stood still for humans to be born, Time to build an Arc or wooden Cross. Eye for eye? I for I? The vision of the best of life is blocked, Defined by everything that I am not, On the Seventh Watch.

Sometime soon: Sometime soon, your gonna change your tune, Fall in behind, this new pink moon, Telling yourself, all things true, Tearing down towers built by you. Sometime soon, you gonna melt away, And sleep next to, the Ox and dray. Under a warm Spring Sun in the afternoon Feeling it’s pull, reaching right through. Sometime soon, Sometime soon, Sometime soon, Sometime soon. Sometime soon, your gonna make me smile, Your gonna run into, that old turnstile, And turn your head to all things new, Every cell will sing, Sometime soon. Sometime soon, you gonna melt away, And sleep next to, the Ox and dray, And turn your head, to all things new, Every cell will sing, Sometime soon. Sometime soon, Sometime soon, Sometime soon, Sometime soon.

When the love goes wild Combing her hair, shinning her shoes, Never been loved and never had so little to loose, Taking her chance with his heart so fine, And let’s all go as the love goes wild. When the love goes wild, When the love goes wild, Taking her chance with his heart so fine, And let’s all go just as the love goes wild. Washing his car, hoping she’ll smile, Turns down the street, Just after 5. Taking his chance on her heart so fine, Dropping his guard, as the love goes wild. When the love goes wild, When the love goes wild, Taking her chance with his heart so fine, And let’s all go just as the love goes wild. Walking away from the rise and the fall Taking the hits from the ones who wanted it stalled Taking her chance with his heart so fine, And let’s all go when the love goes wild. When the love goes wild, When the love goes wild, Taking his chance with her heart so fine, And let’s all go just as the love goes wild. Taking his chance with her heart so fine, And let’s all go just as the love goes wild. When the love goes wild, Taking a chance with his heart so fine And lets it all go when the love goes wild.

If there be tears Out in the evening air last night, A black blackbird made a damn good point, It’s twilight song cut right through me, To somewhere deep where the light just can’t be seen. I hold myself like an effigy, Dragging time in and under me, The salty taste burning in my eyes, If there be tears let them be for the land and sky, Let them be, for the land and sky. Going, going, going deep beyond I'm going, going, going deep beyond Small mercies, small badges too, Building castles with your thin voodoo, The longest river leads to the deepest sea, If there be tears, never let them be for me. Never let them be for me If there be tears, never let them be for me. (x2)

Just for one day Steve, where you’re going tonight? The day is not the night! You have two sons, and girl so brave, They’d love to have you back for just one day. Louise, where you’re gonna go? Your dreams, have you o’er. And the child, from which you walk away, Would love to have you back for just one day. Keith, I hear you sing, In a land so far from me, I see you in, the warm Spring rain, I’d love to have you back for just one day. One day, one day, one day, one day, one day, One day, one day, one day, one day, one day. I see you in the warm spring rain, I’d love to have you back for just one day. Souls, lost and found, Happiness and that red clay ground, Leave your hat on the hall-stand frame, We’d love to have you back for just one day.

Why wouldn’t we? If we went away again, maybe we’d end up a little more than friends Wouldn’t we? We could pack a simple tent camp talk all night baby and sleep end to end, Couldn’t we? Couldn’t we? The apple falls down on the path leaves me standing lonely in your aftermath Love’s lonely tree, I won’t hide my face from you the only words you’ll hear will be my deepest truths, wait and see, just wait and see, just wait and see. Why, why not now? Why, why not now? I know I hold real defence I hope you see fit to give we one more chance, Couldn’t we? If we went away again, maybe we’d end up a little more than friends, Wouldn’t we? Why wouldn’t we? Why wouldn’t we?

Blue Planet 03:31
Blue Planet Please walk away, the hour’s growing late, I’ve been thinking hard about this plastic kind of mind, The World is watching and waiting this time. Eden calls to Eve, morning brings new life, How many chances do we really think we need? The World is watching and waiting, this time. In our Mother’s eye, in our Mother’s eye, Beautiful and blue, In our Mother’s eye. Hope was given to me, love was born out of ice, Few can understand the choices we can’t see, The World is watching and waiting, this time. In our Mother’s eye, in our Mother’s eye, Beautiful so blue, In our Mother’s eye.

about

This album is dedicated to the idea that we all can change for the better in the smallest of ways - first from within our own minds - and in doing so can bring monumental change for the World. Our World today is a reflection of human thinking, not human being. What we aspire to, will kill us, what we let go of and open to, will save us. The adventure remains the same.
